OUR COMMITMENT
Having spent such amazing times on St Lucia, it is impossible not to fall in love with the island. The island's outstanding beauty and amazing people have resonated deeply with us over the years. Hence, we wanted to give back to the community and formed Soufrères. 'Frère'—the French word for 'brother'—is central to our identity to reflect the close bond between the founding members and our commitment to supporting the community Soufriere community.
Football means so much to people and is central to community pride and spirit globally. We hope that Soufrères can provide long-term support to the Black Panthers, ensuring they continue their great work and support the athletic abilities of the community. St Lucia has amazing athletes; we want to ensure they are supported to reach their full potential.
Football provides many key skills to young people, such as responsibility, pride, and respect. Therefore, we want to support the Black Panthers so they can continue their meaningful work in supporting the Soufrière community and providing opportunity to the youth.
Having watched the Black Panthers win and seeing what they mean to the local community has been inspiring. We hope to support this amazing initiative to ensure all those who want to be involved are, and that they have all they need to continue to thrive.
